API documentation

Welcome to the API documentation for DataM. This API provides a set of endpoints to interact with DataM's features, mainly datasets and their data.

Authentication: All API endpoints require authentication using Bearer Token authentication. In order to obtain a user please contact us in JRC-DATAM@ec.europa.eu. Bearer tokens can be generated going to "Private area > Manage API users" after getting access.

The API is accessible in https://datam.jrc.ec.europa.eu/datam/rest/

  • Warning for API users

    Digest and Api Key authentication methods are deprecated and will be removed in future releases.

    If you own an API user and use one of these authentication methods, go to "Private area > Manage API users" to generate a token and start using the Bearer token authentication.

    If you don't see the menu option "Private area > Manage API users" after login, please contact us.
