Cumulative Free Trade Agreements (FTA) studies

The cumulative potential impact of upcoming trade negotiations on the EU agri-food sector.

An ex-ante study series produced by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, assessing the impact of upcoming FTAs on the EU agri-food sectors based on a two-step modelling approach.

The analysis of the impacts on EU bilateral agri-food trade flows is based on the global computable general equilibrium (CGE) named Modular Applied GeNeral Equilibrium Tool (MAGNET).

The analysis of the impacts that trade flow changes have on EU production, consumption, and prices, is provided by the global partial equilibrium (PE) model Aglink-Cosimo.
